Mission

    Greetings in the name of Jesus!!

                The vision for the Letters of Truth began in a pump room at a Minnesota Y.M.C.A.  somewhere during the summer 2001.  During that season of our lives we were stewards of another online ministry called "The Altar of God."  This particular ministry was doing well yet for us inspiration was getting more and more difficult.  If my memory serves me correctly we finally closed the door in June 2004.  We began that ministry in 1998.    We are at a different place naturally and spritually now.  God is calling us not to look back even to what the Lord did in righteousness but to be yielded and obedient to today's vision!!!

                  My wife and I met and married at a small Bible School in the hills of Virginia.    If you enjoy the Word of the Lord from these pages it is a result of impartation of a seed of faith sown nearly two decades ago.  We are a result of what we "saw and heard" and now preach!!  Giving honour to whom honour is do is huge in God's kingdom so we recognize those who payed a price for us to see "Christ formed in us." 

                As you may have gathered from thus far, Isaiah 61:1-3 is the primary text, addressing the primary mission of God the Father sending His Son.  As scripture tells us, Jesus was sent to give us life and that more abundantly.  What we intend to address through the website is this word "abundant" or correctly said..."abundantly."  Abundance is God's promise toward us.  Abundance is entrance into His Kingdom.  The Bible says, "the Kingdom of God is not in meat and drink..but Righteousness, Peace, and Joy in the Holy Ghost."   The Salvation experience becomes the right to see this Kingdom.  The baptism of Water and Spirit is the right to enter this Kingdom. (John ch. 3)  This is simply a brief overview foundational truth which will be addressed thoughout the site in founctional detail.

                As we did the Altar of God website we will address Man's responsibilty to balance the doctrine of Faith alone.  Sometimes our life in Christ is anything but "Abundant."   To be mature in Christ it demands we face a "hard saying" in regards to our own personal walk with the Lord.  This will be addressed in a room called "Hindrances."  In a nut shell areas of sin which break our covenant with the Lord and the "Heavens become as Brass."    The Altar of God was a website to the backslidden believer which was introwoven with the revelation of Repentance.  Many, if not most of the messages in the room "Hindrances" are taken from and written during the time of "The Altar of God."  Again also we wrote a book called the "Biography of a Backslidder" to coincide with the previous website.  This book was written when  we were young adults in the middle of Bible school.  I'm nearly 40 years old now yet when I have reread those pages without fail I'm convicted.   I distintly remember still today the fire of God on my soul during the writing.  There is no charge for those books.

                Lastly we our looking for you the reader to share your email testimony!!(Disclaimer)  Your testimony of salvation, healing and deliverence..How the Lord is fulfilling His commission in you and for you!!  We are simply stewards of God's people ministering one to another!  We want to encourage you to share becomes most importantly someone out there needs to hear!!  Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God!!
